Answers to common questions about copyright, commercial use, and generative AI risk, as well as how a project runs.
Copyright in the material we produce is transferred (or licensed) to the client after delivery, per the agreement. Because the legal treatment of generative AI training data and terms of service is still actively being debated both in Japan and internationally, we operate in good faith based on the latest legal interpretation and the terms of service of the generative AI tools we use.
Yes, our material is produced with commercial use in ads and promotions in mind. We operate in line with the commercial-use terms of the generative AI services we use, and we'll confirm details such as placement, usage period, and any expected secondary use before finalizing.
Risks specific to generative AI — unintended similarity, unnatural results, or ambiguity around rights tied to training data — are reduced as much as possible through a professional review process built on our TV commercial production background, along with generating and comparing multiple variations. That said, both the technology and the legal framework around generative AI are still evolving, so we can't claim the risk is fully eliminated. Please raise any specific concerns with us before production begins.
When generating a model, we take care not to imitate any specific real person, and we review for this. If you notice any resemblance of concern, let us know before final delivery and we'll adjust it.
We primarily use a generative AI pipeline built on ComfyUI, with a custom workflow that applies composition, camera-work, and lighting know-how from TV commercial production.
Standard revisions are included in the price (scope confirmed per project). A major change of direction from the original brief may require an additional fee, which we'll discuss with you first.
It depends on scope, but as a guide: a day or two up to a week for one or two still images, and roughly 2–3 weeks for multiple cuts or video. Let us know if you're on a tight timeline.
We accept bank transfer. Quote and invoice timing is arranged per project.
Yes. Working with our parent company NINE Inc.'s production team, we can combine live-action shooting for scenes that are hard to express with generative AI.
